Wrangler bloggers meet-up
It was just a casual tapas-and-sangria night for Greek fashion bloggers, hosted by Evi Efthymiou of Wrangler and yours truly.
Unfortunately, I was so distracted chatting, I only remembered to whip out out my camera when half the crew had already left, but all my darlings were there: Thalia, Stella, Katerina, Tasos, Stefanie, Maria Flora, Despina, Chara, Maddie, Joanna and Kristen. I had to give Elena a leave of absence due to work-related stuff, but I'm sure I can lure her into a private tutoring session over some KFC.
Stephanie, Tasos and Maddie have also posted a lot more pics than me, so if you wanna snoop around a bit more, please do!

Notos Galleries backstage and people

Spanaki
Well, I'm sure you didn't wait for me to break the news about Greek handmade clutch bag designer Spanaki.
Quite a while ago, Anna (the talented girl behind the Spanaki name) decided to give me a little something.
For those of you who aren't familiar with her work, Anna upcycles newspaper and magazine covers into cute little handbags, all handmade by her.
This clutch is quite special for several reasons:
It's the cover of LiFO newspaper issue of December 3rd 2009, featuring a painting by Wake...
...and on the inside of the same issue, there's a picture and a mini interview of my dear friend Larry Gus.
You know how much I love beautiful stuff being created from things we usually consider garbage.
Especially when I remember this picture I personally shot back on December of 2009.
So, for all those separate reasons, I really much appreciate Anna's gesture as much as I appreciate her work, both as a clutch maker and a graphic designer.
Just look at those beautiful postcards designed by her, that she gave me along the clutch!

Anna is one of the handmade goodies creators participating in Tell-A-Story tradeshow, taking place this Saturday and Sunday 12:00-21:00 at BIOS, 84 Pireos st. Athens.

Anna and her Spanaki clutches are also participating in The Meet Market this weekend! Don't ask how it's possible for her to be in two places at once, good friends are always there to help.
So get up, have some coffee and head downtown!

1 year Notos Galleries Thessaloniki
When I received that phone call asking us to participate in the celebrating of the first year of Notos Galleries department store in Thessaloniki, I almost squealed with joy.
An one-day trip in the second biggest city of Greece, full of shopping, fashion and fun, along with three other of my favourite Greek fashion blog girls: Elena, Eleni and Zeta.
So this is what went down:
We woke up in the break of dawn to catch out flight.
Arrived in Thessaloniki and went straight for the clothes, of course.
Oh, this is our hostess, Chrissiana:

And then we took our seats for the fashion show...
...and of course I had to put our shoes on instagram while waiting.
And then, it started!
As you see, there's already a handful of pics, so I had to break some into another post, just with the backstage and some other stuff.
