It's autumn already and tootsies are getting cold.

This time around, I find myself moving away from the obvious choice of transitional footwear a.k.a. the ballet flat, and onto more unexpected styles.

Or you could just simplify the whole rational and say I pretty much want to wear shoes with socks. That's kinda important too.

Last day of summer

Celebrating the last day of August with a long-due post bikini post.

This is the Coral Tropical print by Pretty Me. 

You can feast your eyes on this Pinterest board by Hondos Center (who is the only place that stocks them here in Greece) and pray to the allmighty Flying Spaghetti Monster that there would be any sizes left in stock that you can bag for 50% off.

Hell yeah I got the frilly bottoms! What did you expect, that I would act like I'm a grown ass 31-year-old or something?

And when that day I realised I hadn't brought any hair ties with me (where DO these things disappear anyway) I just untied the center front tie of the top and made a matching hair elastic. MacGyver would be proud.

Carrera in colours

Yeap, new sunglasses!

These are my new CARRERA 6014/S in blue. Well, actually that's their name, but they're more of a combo of a blue frame, light blue temple tips and purple-pink lenses.

I'm already thinking of matchy-matchy goodness - nails, dresses and the whole lot.

This is considered as a great achievement for me. Finding new sunglasses is up next to shopping for a new pair of jeans. A pain in the ass, but oh-so-satisfying when you get it right.

And did I mention the light blue temple tips? They're soooo cute!

June, seriously?

Who would have thought the first outfit of June would be one with boots? Well, actually this outfit is a bit older, but I dug it up because is is exactly what I should have worn today, in the rain.

Jacket, blouse and boots, ZARA. Floral dress worn a skirt, ASOS. Belt, MANGO.

MI-RO Starlight Express

Nothing much to say here, other than the fact I very much admire MI-RO for taking risks and not sticking to a manière. There might not be pieces in this collection that I would fetch my wallet for (metallics still have not rubbed onto me yet) but that's the thing with fashion. Great designers have a way of feeling where things will head at, way before we do. Kudos guys.

Black and interesting

These are seriously the most comfortable heels I've ever walked in. The bad news is that the MIGATO e-shop isn't ready yet, so I can't link you straight to them. The good news is that MIGATO has 120 stores around the world, so I'm pretty sure one of them is gonna be close. The product code is GF7081 and their price €57.

Last minute Easter shopping at McArthurGlen Athens

So, you really are a last-minute kind gal?

Worry not, there is a magical place on earth called McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Athens that is the ultimate destination for gift shopping. That's where we found ourselves earlier this week along with fellow blogger Elena, in an attempt to get our Easter holiday shopping under wraps.

If you've already read the previous post, first two stops at Moschino and Carlo Pazolini were centered around getting myself a little something.

Next up was Staff Jeans & Co:

Great for all those basics that teenage boys & girls (e.g. your godchildren) can never have enough of: jeans, t-shirts, check button-downs, sneakers, the whole deal.

Last stop of the day was VS, which stands for View in Style and is yet another Greek company, this time just for us girls. 

Too bad I haven't discovered it earlier, because it has great little somethings like dresses, cute stamped t-shirts and scarves.

And before you know it, I found myself inside a fitting room with an armful of dresses. Now, how did this happen?

Here are the four I tried on:

Simple maxi with black-and-grey thin stripes. Way too long.

A-line floral with lilac and pale yellow hem. Way too girlie.

Simple beige shift dress. Way too proper.

Full skirt navy stripes on white. Just right.

So this one, plus a pair of loose viscose pants, came home with me.
