Director Yorgos Lanthimos on the red (or magenta?) carpet accompanied by Venice Film Festival Best Actress winner (for Attenberg) and also his sweetheart Ariane Labed and Dogtooth actress Aggeliki Papoulia.
Dogtooth is a Greek movie that was nominated for Best Foreign Film but lost to In A Better World.
According to trivia info I gathered from around the web and Greek TV (to be more precise DoraBora's tweet and film critic Iasonas Triantafyllidis) Lanthimos wore an Ermenegildo Zegna tux, whereas Aggeliki Papoulia chose this Gucci gown.

I was so glad that Lanthimos actually walked on to magenta carpet well it was not red if you ask me...
Nice choise about the tax that he wore it was suitable for an occasion like that. Also the dresses were amazingly beutiful. I am sorry though that he didn't win the Oscar for his category. At least he showed up to the Oscars!
