Not bad at all

Two thousand and eight has been a great year for me, in general and fashion-wise. This is why:

I got a sewing machine. And used it. More than once.
I lost my on-line shopping virginity. And didn't regret it.
I attended the Athens Fashion Week and participated in the workshops. Quite an experience.
I changed the way I dress. This past year, I realized jeans feel really restricting and uncomfortable for me and that I don't have to wear them just because most people live in them. Since summer, I've been wearing skirts and dresses most of my time and I have never felt more comfortable, stylish or pretty.
Last but definitely not least, back in April I started this blog. Since then, so many wonderful things have happened to me because of that. Through this blog I became more creative, I learned to take better pictures, I got published in Canada(!) and most importantly, I met all of you amazing people! Some of you even in person (hello Rebecca!). Thank you so much!

Here's to an equally wonderful 2009!

these are really great achievments for you, esp. the sewing machine and changing your style, it's really hard to feel comfy in some clothes that you are not used to.hey by the way we're colleagues:))

HERE HERE! Power to the dress-and-skirt wearers!

So glad you started blogging, and that we were able to "meet," Lopi. Greece is high on my list of possible vacation spots, so hopefully someday in person, too!

Happy New Year, gorgeous.
