I am developing a major obsession over these "folding" harem pants by Zara.
It all started two days ago, when I saw this picture of two impossibly cool kids over at Camille's.
See the pants the girl is wearing? Then, my dear blog-friend ModeJunkie shows up wearing them too. She is a cool mama, you see.I complimented on her impeccable taste and learned from her that the amazing pants are in fact from Zara. If I had a Zara in my town, I would be camped outside the store right now. *&%$@!
And if all that frustration wasn't enough, I pop over Betty's and guess what I see...Arrrrggggggggghhhhhh! (growl of despair)

thanks for the lovely words lopi. i would get you this if i had a zara near me too. but unfortunately, we have to drive to france ourselves just to have some spanish goodness. don't hyperventilate. :)
you made me want a pair too!
and thanks for the comment in my blog - the pic looks like this because of computer editing , I used picasa 2 - just filled the pic with light
those pants are amazing! Now I'm craving a pair
I really do want those pants too. I got some more basic ones from Zara, but they just aren't the same!
do u think i'll find them on thursday, the day that the sales begin?
also, i am not too tall. is this a good idea?
thanx
:P
now you've made me want a pair of those!
xoxo,
La C.
i love the pants!! i think they're so chic
I was developing the same obsession with the same posts! but I know that it won't look good on me, so I'm leaving it to you dear:))
killah: I believe that wearing those pants successfully is less about someone's height and more about what they'll be worn with. I haven't even seen them in person yet, so I really can't say for sure.
That said, if I was in Athens, had tried them on and liked them, I wouldn't risk waiting for the sales.
Go and try them on, and if you like them, grab them and run!
Oh, and get me a pair too, will you?
how weird/cool?!
I know exactly how you feel! Those pants are quite sweet.
I must be the only one who never liked that kind of pants, I guess.
Still, I'm pretty sure you'll come up with some amazing ways to wear them, so I hope you'll finally manage to get them!
why don't you ask ur sweet sister to buy them for you? Even if you don't manage to get them though, with all these people wearing them in the blogsphere, being the one who doesn't is a fashion statement in its own right:)
in the meantime, i am still...knitting! i'd love to give a go at sewing too though, haven't touched a sewing machine since Saint Martins' class safety seminar! i'll be nudging u soon!
you don't have zara in your town? gosh that's tragic... those pants are gorgeous but since i have a disgustingly short torso, i bet they'll look horrible on me....i think it will look great on you lopi
