Weekend
This is pretty much what I did all weekend: Organizing, tidying up, putting away stuff and generally nesting.
My new shoe closet was actually an old piece of furniture taken from my grandmother's pharmacy. Its selves are perfectly sized and distanced to play home for my heels, plus the glass door means I can see my collection while protecting it from dust. More detailed pics will follow as soon as I replace a couple of glass panels that are now missing.
For shoe storage for flats, see this old post.

Beautiful storage solution!
xx
Now I can gush about the fact that I was the only one to take part in the unboxing!
Looks beauuuutiful lops!
P.S Did Spiros get over it or he's still licking it all the time?
I need something similar for my shoes.
@Elena
Nope, he's still all over it. I think I have to hurry up with the glass replacing, or he's gonna start licking my shoes too. Of all the cats in the world, I ended up with the one with a shoe fetish.
That is perfect! And what a great way to keep that piece going strong.
finally something different in the whole 'shoe storage' problem! are you gonna keep it in the living room like are mothers kept their wedding china for everyone to see? plus i would consider painting it in a pop color.
We're quite have a lot in common, shoes and books are my treasures, more than any clothes I could think of, if only I could only wear shoes only haha!
